after 48 long years, I made a long-delayed trip to Israel - a pre-Aliyah journey as it was always something I wanted to do and was now in a position to do so. Like any tourist, I brought my camera to capture the moments of the journey. What I did not realize at the time as I pointed my little Nikon 3X Zoom point and shoot camera that it would be the beginning of my journey as a photographer and so much more.
